JULY 2025: I was privileged to conduct a playwrighting workshop at SOLA, a boarding school in Rwanda for Afghani girls. The entire school, which had opened in Kabul in 2018, fled to Africa in 2021, when the Taliban descended. Among the human rights violations imposed upon women and girls is the edict prohibiting education beyond 6th grade. For additional information, please check out this 60 Minutes profile of the school: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=60+mimutes-+sola
